NaturalVision Evolved - FiveM Install Guide

Description


This package will let you use NVE on FiveM without any hassle.

Please make sure your FiveM "mods" folder does not contain any other graphical mods.

Delete any old graphical mods from FiveM before proceeding with this install.

July 1st, 2021

• Fixed an issue with intense light coronas in FiveM
• Fixed an issue with custom timecycle modifiers not working in FiveM
• Fixed an issue with light pollution being displayed incorrectly in FiveM
• Updated ENB presets for the FiveM package

June 30th, 2021

• Modified over 130 road signs throughout the countryside in order to make them reflective during night time
• Added a new high-quality corona / lens flare texture for street lights at night
• Added a new shaved Palm tree and new medium Palm tree with improved textures, proper vertex paint and LOD models as part of the vegetation overhaul
• Added new hedges around the entire Los Santos Golf Course and completed the hedges around Michael's home
• Completed the Vespucci Beach sand overhaul. Added more high-resolution sand textures with parallax mapping and LODs
• Added tree reflections to vehicles and glass in Rockford Hills and the surrounding area. Includes garland light reflections in the Portola Drive area. Quality may improve in the future. This will be further completed in future updates in order to support the entire map. (WIP)
• Improved blood splatter and damage wound decals. Bullet wounds soak properly on clothing. Blood pools up more slowly and realistically. Exit wounds work properly now. This will be further improved in future updates (WIP)
• Adjusted the sky color in Extrasunny, Clear and Neutral weathers in Los Santos
• Slightly increased the fog distance in Overcast, Extrasunny, Clear and Neutral weathers
• Improved light pollution during night time in Los Santos using a new method. This will be further improved in future updates (WIP)
• Added various new neon and animated lights throughout Los Santos. New locations include Maze Bank tower crown (Downtown LS), IAA / FIB building rooftops (Downtown LS), Clappers sign (Downtown Vinewood), Vinewood Liquor (Downtown Vinewood), Liberty Style Pizza w/ visible interior (Downtown Vinewood), Rockford Hills City Hall (Burton), City Hall Tower (Alta) and LSIA Theme Building (Los Santos International Airport)
• Improved the countryside lighthouse emissive light and added a point light which casts rays through the glass
• Modified and improved street lights near the Los Santos International Airport area and Portola Drive area. Additionally improved lights inside various parking garages located in Los Santos
• Fixed various issues with street lights in the FiveM package
• Improved the emissive intensity and duration of fireworks launched with the Firework Launcher weapon
• Reduced corona intensity on the flare gun. 
• Added a new high-quality vehicle dirt texture (WIP)
• Added new high-quality parallaxed roads to Portola Drive & Burton for Platinum Supporters as part of the roads overhaul (WIP)
• Adjusted the color of headlights on the Glendale and removed headlight coronas from the Glendale, Rhapsody, Pigalle and Blade vehicles
• Disabled the "services_nightlight" timecycle modifier in order to prevent yellow night lights in parts of the countryside
• Improved the smoothness of various lights around the city including lights emitting from vending machines and the colored tubes at LSIA
• Improved lighting inside the Metro Subway interiors located near the Rockford Plaza and across the street from Bahama Mamas
• Removed collision from the custom traffic sign props in the altV and RageMP packages as requested by users
• Updated ENB presets and shaders with slight adjustments
• Misc bug fixes and tweaks


Known Issues:
- Some hedges currently do not have their collision removed. This will be completed in the future.
- Laser lights glitch out and flicker at certain angles. This will be fixed in the future once we have a solution.
- Farthest LOD on the Olive Tree model is still using the vanilla tree. This will be fixed in the future.
- Farthest LOD models on trees in locations with vegetation reflections look weird. This will be fixed in the next update.
- Farthest LOD models for Vespucci Beach sand are not present. This will be fixed in the next update.

Instructions


1. Open the "Main Package" folder located within the "FiveM NVE Pack" folder. Copy the "mods" folder from inside.
2. Go to your "FiveM Application Data" folder. 

The default location is "C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM Application Data"

To go there, you can hold the "Windows Key + R" buttons on your keyboard to bring up the Run menu

Then type %localappdata% and press OK


3. Paste the "mods" folder you copied earlier. Replace all files if necessary.

4. Go back to the "FiveM NVE Pack" folder and click the "Optional Add-Ons" folder. If you want to install something from the "Optional Add-Ons" folder then just copy and paste the .rpf file(s) to the FiveM "mods" folder within the "FiveM Application Data" folder.

5. Go back to the "FiveM NVE Pack" folder and click on the folder labeled "ENB (Required)" and open it.
Select a preset of your choice and open the folder.

Copy all of the files from inside and paste them into your main GTAV folder
		
Steam Version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V

Social Club Version: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V

Epic Games Version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\GTAV
Make sure you paste all files and folders into the main GTAV folder.

Done! Now you can play FiveM with the NVE mod.
NOTE:
If you are playing on a server with a custom map then you should delete "b_NVE_Vanilla_Map.rpf" and "e_NVE_New_Street_Lights.rpf" from your FiveM 'mods' folder. Otherwise you may experience floating objects.
Keep in mind that NVE was created for the Los Santos and Blaine County areas.

Before starting your game, please read below for additional information.


ENB Tips and More


Tip #1:

You can open the ENB menu by pressing "Left Shift + Enter" at the same time while in-game.

You can take screenshots with ENB by using the "Print Screen" button. They will save in your GTAV game folder.

Tip #2:

You must have your in-game GTAV PostFX and Particles Quality settings on "Very High" or "Ultra" in order for all of the shaders and effects included in this package to work properly.

You must have your in-game GTAV Shader Quality settings on "Very High" in order for all of the ENB shaders included in this package to work properly.
Make sure you enable "Extended Distance Scaling" and turn up the slider within the Advanced Graphics settings tab

Tip #3:

You must have DirectX set to "DirectX 11" under the "Graphics" settings tab.

Tip #4:

You can enable or disable the ENB shaders by going into the ENB menu, clicking "Show Shaders" on the top and then clicking "enbeffect.fx", "enbeffectpostpass.fx" or "enbdepthoffield.fx". 

Doing this will bring up several options where you can tick or untick a box, as well as adjust the variables.

Once you are done configuring your ENB settings, click "Save Configuration" on the upper-left corner of your screen.

Tip #5:

Enable the "Extended Texture Budget" setting and turn it all the way up in FiveM in order to prevent distant textures from disappearing.
